After spending the night in Mesquite, Nevada at a very reasonable motel, we headed North on I-15 and headed across the border into Arizona and the Virgin River Canyon Area.
This is such a spectacular canyon! It is hard to describe or even capture in photos.
Here is a shot of the Virgin River, which also runs through Zion National Park.
This unusual rock pyramid was seen in several locations, but quite a distance from one another.
This is still in the Virgin River area of Arizona.

Wow. We are finally in Utah. I never knew it had a theme of "Life Elevated".
We got off the interstate to see the St George Temple. It is quite beautiful and shows up all over the valley.
