South Jordan Bike Ride June 2, 2012

Jim, Elder Dotson and Walter Mills are trying to figure out Elder Dotson's bike computer before our bike ride on the south Jordan River Trail.
We only made it as far as the International Peace Park when Elder Dotson got a flat tire.  The men are changing the tire.  This is often a frequent activity when on the Jordan River Trail.

The next few scens are of the beautiful flowers in the park.  I believe this park was set up for the Olympics when they were here in 2002.  There is an section in the park for many of the countries.

Once we got back underway, we followed the Jordan River Trail a total of 10 miles before we turned around to ride back to the KOA.  These birds were on the bank of the river and are White Pelicans.  They are not very common so it was great to see them.

Ah, Spring!  These are goslings with their mom and dad.
These geese were making a mess on a small beach by the river.  The goslings are cute, though!  It really was a beautiful day!
