The last of Big Bend, November 8 & 10, 2012

It was unusual to see a tunnel here but this was one.

This is me, way up on the rock over looking Ernest Tinaja.  We walked over a mile to get here and it was in the upper 80's.  Pretty hot for November 8th!

This is a unique rock formation where it trapped water and made a pool.  The side are very steep and animals have fallen in and been unable to get out.

Jim took all these photos because I could not get down there due to my fear of heights.

It was beautiful!

We traveled 10 miles one way on this dirt road to see Ernest Tinaja

Good thing we had the Jeep!

We ran out of time to hike down to see this canyon.  We drove 199 miles in the park this day.

This is a photo of the canyon.

Sunset in Big Bend.  The next day we drove to Presidio and the following day we left the park.

Leaving Big Bend and it's unique scenery.

We drove over 90 miles just to leave the Big Bend Park from the southern end.
